Project
Led a brand development initiative for Barber Love, creating a design that exceeded client expectations by striking the perfect balance between vintage charm and modern aesthetics.
The project involved developing a cohesive visual identity, including logo design, color palette, typography, and supporting brand assets, all tailored to reflect the business’s values and unique character.
The logo, word mark and monogram draw inspiration from the golden age of barbershops—an era defined by warm tones, clean fades, and traditional tools. This is captured through typography reminiscent of early-20th-century signage, with subtle serif flourishes and bold character.
A classic, monochromatic or muted colour palette, evoking the look of hand-painted shop windows and old barber poles. Carefully considered spacing and composition that mirrors the symmetry and order of vintage branding.
BarberLove’s minimalist design relies on a simplified type and colour system to create strong, consistent brand recognition.
This clean structure gives the team flexibility to build assets independently, while the subtle use of a vintage razor shape in the “L” adds a distinctive nod to classic barbering heritage.
“A bold identity rooted in tradition, refined for today.”
BarberLove’s stationary, clothing and environmental displays blend tradition and modern style with a clean layout, bold type, and minimal colour.
Textured finishes and quality materials nod to classic barber tools, creating a professional, memorable card rooted in the craft.
