The Challenge

As Corvette entered a new era of performance—integrating hybrid powertrains, advanced data systems, and connected features—its digital interface needed a rethink.

The goal was to create a cohesive, future-ready experience that honoured Corvette’s legacy while embracing cutting-edge technology.

This meant designing an interface that could evolve with the vehicle: fast, precise, intuitive—and distinctly Corvette.

Design Goals

To elevate the performance experience, we focused on:

  • Streamlining telemetry, drive modes, and hybrid system data

  • Creating a dynamic, immersive visual system

  • Maintaining clarity at speed

  • Strengthening brand identity through motion, color, and layout

  • Future-proofing the UI for electrification and beyond

As product designer, I collaborated with cross-functional teams across multiple GM programs. I helped define the future interface’s structure, core visual language, and interaction models—ensuring it could flex for both performance display sizes.

I was responsible for user flows, high-fidelity UI, and detailed specification and requirements documentation for software development handoff.

“As Corvette tech advanced, the interface followed— now smarter, sleeker, and built for what’s next.”

Key Features & Innovations

  • Advanced Telemetry at a Glance
Track timers, G-force, tire temps, and more—accessible in a layout designed for high-speed use.

  • Integrated Video & Data Playback
Built-in post-session review tools, eliminating the need for external devices.

  • Corvette-First UI Language
A bespoke visual system combining bold typography, performance-driven colour, and motion that mirrors the car’s behaviour.

  • Future-Ready Architecture
Designed to scale across upcoming performance models and adapt to new tech—like electrification, ADAS, and personalized profiles.

Outcomes & Impact

The new interface set a higher bar for Corvette’s digital cockpit—clearer data, smarter tools, and a stronger brand voice.

Launched with the 2025 Corvette, it redefined how drivers connect with performance. Not just an upgrade—a shift in how performance is seen, felt, and understood.
